Mind you, I like much of what Ree Drummond writes about, but the notion that good food -- even a cake -- can be made from a box mix, instant pudding, canned fruit, margarine, and Cool Whip® is false. Mark Bittman will support me on this point.

As a Pioneer Woman reader and a Bittman reader I whole heartedly agree! Bittman has completely changed the way I eat. And is that margarine to add insult to injury? Ewwwww.....
